How far in advance should I plan my move?
For good preparation, we recommend planning approximately 1 – 2 months in advance. There are sometimes also options in the shorter term, but keep in mind that the summer months in particular are busy and therefore fully booked sooner.
Once you accept our offer, we will plan the move together with you. We will inform you as best as possible about the (im)possibilities and make a realistic planning, taking your wishes into account.
Other frequently asked questions
We have our own storage facility in Eindhoven. If you want to (temporarily) store some of your belongings, you can arrange that with us. During the survey you can indicate which items you may want to put in storage and we offer this optional in our quotation.
When moving to or from a country outside the EU, customs clearance is taken care of by us or our partner.
Take the time to do some research! You are about to transport your personal belongings. Do you trust that to everyone?
We offer the insurance program of the Recognized Movers with every quote. If you have taken out insurance, you can contact us in the event of damage within a week after the move.
We do offer this option for a European move if desired. For an overseas move, you can pack non-fragile small items in boxes yourself if you wish. However we always provide professional export packing for breakable items and furniture.
The transit time obviously depends on the destination. On average, you should expect 6-8 weeks for an overseas move. A European move varies from a few days to a few weeks.
In order to make a quote, we would like to make an appointment for a survey. This can be a survey at your house, but we also have the option to schedule a video survey with you. Based on the survey results, we will provide you with a quotation. This is free of charge and without obligations.
